Keith Coast
has entertained audiences worldwide with his own blend of family-style humor. On tour, his variety acts include the art of illusions, balloons, and “dangerous things”! Online, he shares his ridiculous songs and kid-friendly content on iTunes and his YouTube Channel. He has appeared on Showtime at the Apollo hosted by Steve Harvey, a featured performer at Silver Dollar City in Branson, and 18 countries worldwide. While traveling and at home, he enjoys reading SciFi, Graphic Novels, and the Classics he should have paid more attention to in school. Keith and his family are constantly on the move but claim Oklahoma City as home.
He WROTE his first book
The Bacon Book! Keith Coast and Forrest Davis' ukulele smash hit has been transformed into a colorfully illustrated book to enjoy anytime, anywhere. Illustrator Micah Hanson has visualized and brought to life the lyrics that have been sung by bacon enthusiasts worldwide. Your school now has the opportunity to meet the author Keith Coast in person!
The Author Event
The Bacon Book Author Event isn’t just about fun (and bacon), in his large group presentation, Mr. Coast talks about teamwork: working together to get the job done. He shares his personal process of song writing and also how the song was adapted for this book project. His objective is to get your students excited about reading, cooperation, and sharing their own creative projects with others!
Large Group Option…Mr. Coast can perform a large assembly. To ensure each student gets the most from the presentation, we ask that no more than 200 students for large groups.
Small Group Option…The small group option would ideally take place in the school library where each class (no more than 50) would have a 20 minute session, with the song, reading of the book, and Q&A time with the students.
